Amon Amarth

É uma banda de Death metal da cidade de Tumba na Suécia. Formada em 1988 inicialmente chamada Scum, tornou-se Amon Amarth em 1992 retirada de "O Senhor dos Anéis" que significa "Montanha da Perdição".
Composta por Johan Hegg (vocalista), Olavi Mikkomen (guitarrista), Johan Soderberg(guitarrista), Fredrik Andersson (baterista), Ted Lundstrom (baixista).

Deicide

Deicide é uma banda de Death metal dos Estados Unidos na Flórida formada em 1987, inicialmente chamada Carnage. Quando Glen Burton (vocalista) se mudou para a banda o nome mudou para Amon e foi lançada duas demos, em 1989 o nome mudou definitivamente para Deicide. A palavra Deicide significa "O ato de matar um ser da natureza divina" a palavra pode significar tambem "Aquele que tem interesse em matar Cristo".

Grupo originalmente formado por, Glen Burton (vocal e baixo), Erick Hoffman (guitarra), Brian Hoffman (guitarra) e Steve Ashein (bateria) permaneceu intacta até novembro de 2004 quando Glen burton declarou que os irmãos Hoffman não fariam mais parte da banda, tendo formação atual com Glen Burton (vocal e baixo), Jack Owen (guitarra), Kevin Querion (guitarra) Steve Ashein (bateria).

A banda sofre ameaças pela sua filosofia que defende o extermínio de religiões, com letras satanicas, e boatos sobre shows.
